Economical large storage: the key to higher performance

Because solar energy varies greatly from day to day, energy storage is critical. The lack of large, cost-effective storage has been a limiting factor, especially for larger installations.

Sisyan's modular tank will make smaller systems more effective and enable high-performance larger systems.

Durable construction

Elements created by laminating metal sheets to both sides of foam insulation panels (1-5)
Each 4" foam panel is R-25. Walls can be built using 1-3 panels for up to R-75.
No liner - the inner walls are 316L stainless steel (3,5,7) which will not corrode or age
Corners and seams are sealed with compressed silicone gaskets and self-sealing bolts (6-7). Maximum water pressure is 1.6psi
Edges are sealed with compressed silicone gasket and proprietary clip
Materials suitable for contact with potable water

Flexible installation

Below-ground installation is preferable. Tank walls are braced prior to filling (9-10).
Plumbing can be installed through side fittings (11).
If installed above ground, additional internal/external bracing will be provided per site-specific design (13-14)
Rectangular form fits well in corners or excavations (12)
